From Football Wednesdays to National Champions
Unity Sports was established in 2023 by Unity Homes with the goal of promoting and enhancing extracurricular activities among both residents and staff. What began as informal “Football Wednesdays” quickly became a popular attraction for residents and was later extended to staff members. The enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated by both groups highlighted the need to create a unified team that would represent the community as a whole.
The football club was founded by Steve Mukolwe (Chairman), who spearheaded its registration in the FKF Ruiru Sub-County League. The club has gone on to win four league championships, a testament to its rapid growth, vibrant community spirit, and dedication to sporting excellence. These achievements reflect the club's rapid growth, strong community spirit, and commitment to sporting excellence.
